Navigating Transitions

Part 1: Navigating Transitions – The Power of Self-Awareness

How Self-Awareness Can Anchor You through Change

Last month when I guided a seasoned executive through a major career realignment, we began with one foundational principle: self-awareness. Often it becomes a leader’s silent compass, especially when navigating uncharted waters.

Key Insights:

  • Understand what truly drives you. In transitions – whether it is changing roles, industries, or redefining purpose – knowing your core values, strengths, and blind spots helps you make aligned, thoughtful and resilient decisions.
  • Pause to reflect. Instead of reacting to changes, create space to ask: What’s being stirred up within me? Why? What new opportunities may arise for me from this change? What am I willing to let go of to make this happen?
  • Leverage coaching as your sounding board. At Acres+, our 1:1 coaching is all about creating a personalized space and a customised approach for leaders to uncover deep realisations, move past obstacles, and ignite their full potential through heightened self-awareness Acres Plus.
